What the AC1-25A rating means for fit
The AF09-22-00-41: The AC1 rating of 25 A defines the contactor's resistive load capacity — heaters, lighting banks, or resistive furnaces. For motor loads (AC-3 duty), the current rating will be lower; verify the motor FLA against the AC-3 table in the datasheet. The 4-pole configuration gives you four normally-open main contacts, which suits three-phase plus neutral switching or dual-load isolation in a single device.
The 24 V coil draws its rated inrush and hold VA from a control transformer or PLC digital output — confirm the drive capacity of the sourcing device. Spring-cage terminals accept 0.75–2.5 mm² stranded or solid; strip length 8 mm.
