160 A continuous — what it means for the panel
The AF116-30-11-13: The 3-pole configuration suits three-phase motor, heater, or resistive loads where the full current passes through all three poles. The 100-250 V AC/DC coil covers both common control voltages without needing a separate coil variant — useful when the control transformer taps are 110 V, 220 V, or the panel runs a 125 VDC battery-backed system. The wide-range coil eliminates the risk of ordering the wrong voltage variant.
Built-in auxiliary block — one less line item
The AF116-30-11-13 ships with a factory-fitted 1 NO + 1 NC auxiliary contact block. That covers the feedback signal for the PLC and a seal-in contact without ordering a separate side-mount block — saves DIN rail space and a second part number on the BOM. The AF-Line series uses ABB's AF coil technology, which holds the contactor closed with lower power draw than traditional AC coils — the coil stays cooler in a sealed panel and the control transformer can be sized smaller.
Quoted to order against the BOM quantity; lead time and volume pricing confirmed at RFQ. No replacement or cross-reference needed for an active part.
