Rated 11 A at 600 V — motor load ceiling
The AF12-30-10-11 is a 3-pole IEC contactor rated 11 A at 600 V AC. That 11 A figure is the continuous current rating in AC-1 (resistive) duty; for motor loads in AC-3 duty the contactor typically switches up to the same 11 A, but the electrical life at full load is shorter than at the rated thermal current. The coil accepts 20-60 VAC or 20-60 VDC — a wide-range coil that eliminates the need to spec a separate AC or DC coil variant. This simplifies panel wiring and reduces inventory for shops running mixed control voltages.
AF-Line series with built-in auxiliary
Part of the ABB AF-Line series, this contactor uses the AF09 frame. It includes one normally-open auxiliary contact block (the "10-11" in the order code indicates 1 N.O. auxiliary). The auxiliary is factory-integrated, saving a DIN-rail slot and a wiring step compared to a separate add-on block. The AF09 frame footprint is compact — about 45 mm wide — so it fits in crowded control panels where every millimeter of rail space is budgeted.
