Rated 11 A — what that means for the panel
The AF12-30-10-13 is a 3-pole contactor rated 11 A continuous. That 11 A is the thermal current (Ith) at 600 V — the current the main contacts carry without exceeding temperature rise limits. For motor starting, the contactor handles the inrush without welding, but the continuous rating governs the load wire sizing and the upstream breaker coordination. The coil accepts 100-250 V AC or DC. That wide-range coil is the key feature of the AF-Line series — it eliminates the need to specify a separate coil voltage variant and simplifies panel wiring when control voltage is shared across multiple contactors. One N.O. auxiliary contact is built into the frame. For many circuits that's enough for a feedback signal to the PLC or a seal-in contact; if you need more, a side-mount auxiliary block clips on without tools.
Panel fit and DIN-rail mounting
The 11 A rating keeps the contactor compact — it fits in a 45 mm wide envelope, leaving room alongside other AF-Line contactors for multi-motor groups. The screw terminals accept up to 4 mm² wire, so the power wiring stays within the terminal capacity at this current level.
