The ABB AF30-30-00-12 is a 3-pole IEC contactor rated for 50 A continuous current at 600 VAC. The coil accepts 48-130 V AC or DC, which simplifies panel wiring when both supply types are present — no separate coil-supply transformer needed for mixed-voltage control circuits.
Coil and control
The wide-range coil (48-130 V AC/DC) holds in across the full band, so a sag to 48 V won't drop the contactor out. That matters on lines with long cable runs or shared control transformers where voltage drop is a known variable. The AF-Line series uses an electronic coil interface that draws minimal inrush — no separate coil suppression required for most PLC outputs.
