Rated for 400 A motor and resistive loads

That 400 A figure is the thermal current (Ith) for AC-1 resistive duty; for motor switching under AC-3 the make/break capacity is lower, typically around 400 A at 400 V per the IEC utilization category. The 100-250 V AC/DC dual-range coil means one control voltage covers both line and DC supplies — no separate coil variant needed for a 120 VAC or 220 VDC control circuit.
Auxiliary contact complement
