What the 361 A rating means on the line
The AF370-30-11-11: 361 A is the thermal current (Ith) — the continuous current the main poles carry in open air. For motor duty (AC-3) expect a derated figure, typically around 300 A, so this contactor handles a 160-200 kW induction motor at 400 V. The 20-60 VAC/DC coil gives you a wide pick-up range, useful when the control voltage sags under load or you're sharing a 48 VDC control bus.
Lifecycle stage is current — ABB still builds this order code. No successor part number has been issued.
