Rated for a 60 A motor branch on 690 VAC
The ABB AF40-30-00-13 is a 3-pole IEC contactor rated for 60 A continuous current at 690 VAC. That 60 A figure is the AC-1 resistive rating; in AC-3 motor duty the current will be lower, so size the contactor against the motor full-load amps, not the 60 A thermal rating. The coil accepts 100-250 VDC, which covers common 110 VDC and 220 VDC control buses without a separate voltage-matching relay. Panel-mount construction means it bolts to a backplate rather than snapping onto a DIN rail — plan for screw terminals and a drilling template.
