What the 115 A rating means for fit
The ABB AF96-30-00-13 is a 3-pole IEC contactor in the AF-Line series, built on the AF140 frame. Its 115 A motor current rating (130 A general purpose) tells you it's sized for a motor load drawing that current in AC-3 duty — think a 55 kW induction motor at 400 V, or a 75 hp motor at 480 V.
