What the coil range means for your control circuit
The AFS09-30-22-11: The 24-60 VAC / 20-60 VDC coil is a dual-range design — it picks up and holds across that entire band without a separate rectifier or voltage selector. This is useful when the control transformer is tapped at 48 VAC or when a 24 VDC PLC output drives the coil directly. Verify the minimum pickup voltage for your actual supply: at the low end of the DC range (20 V), the coil may drop out if the supply sags under load. Standard practice is to keep the control voltage at least 10% above the minimum pickup for reliable operation.
