Motor protection in a 55 mm footprint
The ABB MS165-25 is a manual motor starter rated for motor protection up to 45 kW at 400 V and 80 A, with trip class 10 for fast overload response. It packs that protection into a 55 mm-wide housing — narrow enough to fit several starters side by side in a standard panel without running out of DIN rail space.
Trip class 10 and phase-failure protection
The built-in phase-failure protection disconnects the motor if one phase drops out, preventing single-phasing damage that would otherwise burn a winding in minutes.
