Surge suppressor for 120 Vac control circuits
The ABB OVRT215150PU is a single-pole surge suppressor rated for 120 Vac circuits with a maximum discharge current of 15 kA and a nominal discharge current of 5 kA. It responds in under 25 ns, making it suitable for protecting sensitive control equipment from fast-rising transients on 50/60 Hz lines.
Mounts directly on standard DIN rail. The NEMA 1 enclosure keeps dust and incidental contact out of the suppression stage. Wire terminations accept solid 14–4 AWG or stranded 14–6 AWG with a 0.5 in strip length — no special lugging needed for panel integration.
