16 A, curve K, 1-pole MCB for supplemental protection
It mounts on a DIN rail and provides supplemental protection per UL 1077 and CSA 22.2, with a 6 kA interrupting capacity at 277 VAC. The curve K trip profile is designed for inductive loads such as motors and transformers, where inrush currents exceed those of resistive loads — the magnetic trip threshold sits higher than a B-curve but lower than a D-curve, so it avoids nuisance tripping on moderate motor starts while still clearing a hard fault.
Single-pole width (roughly 17.5 mm) keeps panel density high — useful when populating a multi-pole distribution board or a control cabinet sub-panel. The S200 series uses a common busbar system, so daisy-chaining several poles for multi-phase circuits is straightforward with the matching ABB busbar comb.
