The ABB S202-C25 is a 2-pole miniature circuit breaker rated 25 A with a Trip Curve C characteristic, meaning it trips at 5 to 10 times rated current — the standard choice for moderate inrush loads like small motors, transformers, and lighting banks where you need short-circuit protection without nuisance tripping on startup.
At 25 A and 277 VAC, this breaker handles single-phase or line-to-neutral loads up to that current on a 277/480Y VAC system. Curve C gives you a 5–10× magnetic trip window: a 25 A breaker holds through a 125 A surge but trips fast on a 250 A fault, which suits mixed resistive-inductive loads.
The 2-pole width is two modular units (36 mm), same as any S200-series breaker, so it swaps in without re-drilling or re-busing. Wire termination is the standard tunnel clamp — accepts up to 25 mm² conductor.
