32 A, Trip Curve K — fit and interrupting capacity
The ABB S202-K32 is a 2-pole miniature circuit breaker rated at 32 A with a Trip Curve K characteristic, designed for DIN-rail mounting in control panels and distribution boards. The 32 A rating supports motor and inductive loads where high inrush currents are expected — Curve K provides magnetic trip between 8 and 12 times rated current, so it holds through motor starting surges without nuisance tripping while still clearing a hard fault. The UL 1077 listing (supplemental protection) means this breaker is intended for use within equipment, not as a service-entrance disconnect — a distinction that matters for compliance documentation in UL 508A panels.
The 2-pole width occupies two modular units (36 mm), so it drops into the same slot as a S202M-C25 without rewiring — the footprint, busbar pitch, and terminal layout are identical across the S200 series. Spring-cage terminals accept 0.5–25 mm² conductors; strip length 10 mm.
