The Z curve trips between 2x and 3x rated current — designed for semiconductor protection and sensitive electronic loads where standard C-curve breakers would allow too much through before opening. Mounts on standard DIN rail — snaps into the same footprint as any S200 family breaker, so panel layout stays the same regardless of curve selection.
DIN rail mount, 2-pole width — 36 mm on the rail, same as every S200 2-pole. Spring-cage terminals accept 0.5 to 25 mm² solid or stranded; strip length 12 mm. The Z-curve means no nuisance tripping on inrush from capacitive loads or small power supplies, but it also means this breaker opens faster than a C-curve on a sustained overload — so verify the connected load's short-duration peak doesn't exceed 6 A (3x rated).
