What the Trip Curve K means for your circuit
Trip Curve K is the middle ground between B and C curves for magnetic trip thresholds — it typically trips instantaneously at 8 to 12 times rated current. That makes the S202P-K10 suited for mixed loads with moderate inrush, like small motor circuits, transformers, or lighting ballasts, where a B curve might nuisance-trip on start-up but a C curve might be too slow for sensitive electronics. At 10 A, it handles continuous loads up to that value; the K curve ensures the magnetic trip catches a hard short before the thermal element takes over.
The 2-pole footprint occupies two modular spaces (about 36 mm total width). Wire terminals accept copper conductors up to 25 mm² for line and load sides.
