The 32 A rating and Trip Curve K are the pair that decide where this breaker lands. Curve K has a magnetic trip range of 8–12× In (256–384 A for this unit), which is tighter than Curve C (5–10× In) but wider than Curve Z (2–4× In). That makes it a good fit for motor-starting circuits and inductive loads where a standard Curve C might nuisance-trip on inrush, but you still want faster short-circuit protection than Curve D (10–20× In). The 10 kA interrupting rating at 277 VAC is the standard branch-circuit fault level for most 277/480 V distribution panels — it will clear a bolted fault without the breaker welding closed.
Panel integration
The 2-pole width is 35 mm (two modular units), and the enclosure is rated IP20 (IP40 with the supplied cover). The actuator is sealable, black, with I/O marking, so it can be locked out for maintenance isolation.
