Product details

Current production — sourcing posture

If you're replacing an older 3-pole C-curve 1 A breaker, the S203-C1 is the direct drop-in.

Peer fit — does it swap with a single-pole?

The SH201T-C16 and SH201T-C6 are single-pole units — they cover one phase each, at 16 A and 6 A respectively. The S203-C1 is a 3-pole block that breaks all three phases simultaneously with one handle. You can't drop a 3-pole into a panel wired for three separate single-pole breakers without reworking the busbar and neutral arrangement — the footprint is different.

Frequently asked questions

What does the C-curve mean on the S203-C1?

The C-curve magnetic trip fires at 5–10× the rated current (5–10 A for this 1 A unit).

Can the S203-C1 replace an SH201T-C16 in a panel?

No — the SH201T-C16 is a single-pole 16 A C-curve breaker. The S203-C1 is a 3-pole block at 1 A. Different pole count, different current rating. They are not footprint-compatible without rewiring the busbar.
