C-curve 6 A for branch-circuit protection
The S262-C6: The C-curve (5–10× In) is specified for inductive or motor-starting loads where inrush current exceeds resistive-load levels — typical for contactor coils, small pumps, or fan circuits in a control panel. For a branch circuit feeding several contactor coils or a 1.5 kW motor at 400 V three-phase, the C-curve holds through the start transient and clears a hard fault within the upstream selectivity band.
The S262 series uses a modular per-pole width. A single-pole S262-C6 occupies one module position; the C-curve designation is marked on the front face for quick identification during commissioning or panel audit.
