What this MCB does on the rail
Rated for 230 VAC, it interrupts faults up to 50 kA — enough headroom for high-fault panels downstream of a large transformer. Mounts on standard DIN rail, same as any 1-pole MCB in the panel.

ABB S800S series, S801S-K16, 1-pole Trip Curve K MCB, 16 A, 230 VAC, 50 kA interrupting capacity, DIN rail mount.

50 kA at 230 VAC, which covers high-fault installations without needing a current-limiting upstream breaker.
The S201MUC-K2 is a 2 A, 1-pole Curve K MCB rated 6 kA interrupting at 277 VAC — so it's a lower-current, lower-fault-rated sibling. The S801S-K16 handles 16 A and 50 kA; physically both are 1-pole DIN-rail breakers, but the S801S-K16 belongs to the higher-fault S800S family. Panel wiring is the same, but the interrupting rating difference means they are not drop-in substitutes without verifying the fault current at the point of installation.
