The ABB S802C-C10 is a 2-pole miniature circuit breaker from the S800C series, rated 10 A with a Trip Curve C characteristic. The 15 kA interrupting rating at 230 VAC means it can safely clear a fault up to 15,000 A without welding its contacts or cascading the failure upstream — essential for high-fault panels fed by a large transformer. Curve C trips at 5 to 10 times rated current (50–100 A), so it's sized for moderate inrush loads like small motors or groups of lighting ballasts; if your circuit sees high-starting-current loads, Curve D would be a better fit.
Two-pole width keeps the panel density reasonable — leaves room for a downstream contactor or surge suppressor in the same row. The S800C family shares the same DIN footprint as the S200 series, so if you're swapping an older S202M-C10, the rail spacing and busbar pitch are identical.
