The ABB TA25DU11 is a 3-pole thermal bimetallic overload relay with an adjustable current range of 7.5 to 11 A, Trip Class 10, and selectable manual or automatic reset. It is designed for use with A-Line series contactors in the A/AE/AL9 through A/AE/AL40 frame sizes.
The 7.5–11 A amp range sets the motor full-load current the relay protects. The 3-pole construction matches three-phase motor circuits; a single overload on any phase opens the N.C. contact in the contactor coil circuit. Selectable manual or automatic reset gives the commissioning engineer flexibility: manual reset for unattended or safety-critical zones where a restart must be deliberate; auto reset for remote or lightly supervised installations where nuisance trips can be cleared without a site visit.
Compatibility and mounting
The TA25DU11 mounts directly to A-Line contactors in the A/AE/AL9 through A/AE/AL40 frame range — no separate bracket or wiring kit needed. The thermal element shares the contactor's line-side power path, so the assembly occupies a single DIN-rail footprint in the panel.
This part carries a current-production lifecycle status. No official successor or substitute has been announced.
