The TA25DU25 is a 3-pole thermal bi-metallic overload relay from Eaton's A-Line series, rated for 25 A with an adjustment range of 18-25 A. The relay mounts directly to A/AE/AL9 through A/AE/AL40 frame contactors, keeping the motor starter footprint compact on the DIN rail.
The 18-25 A adjustment range covers motor FLA from fractional-horsepower up to roughly 7.5 HP at 460 V. Trip Class 10 is the standard for general-purpose induction motors — it allows the start-up inrush to pass while protecting against sustained overloads. Selectable manual or automatic reset gives the panel builder flexibility: auto reset for remote or unattended installations, manual reset for local fault indication. The NEMA type designation means the physical mounting and terminal arrangement follow NEMA ICS 2 standards, so it fits standard NEMA starter enclosures and contactor bases.
Integration note
The relay snaps onto A-Line contactors without tools — align the dovetail slots on the contactor base and push until the latch clicks. The 3-pole design passes all three line conductors through the bi-metallic elements; no neutral pole.
