Thermal overload relay, 60–80 A, Class 20
The ABB TA75DU80-20 is a thermal overload relay from the A-Line family, covering a 60–80 A setting range with a Class 20 trip characteristic. Class 20 means the relay allows a 20-second cold-start trip delay at 7.2× setting current — standard for motor protection where the starting profile of the load (pump, fan, conveyor) needs a longer acceleration window than a Class 10 relay permits.
Panel integration
Mounts directly to ABB A-Line contactors in the same frame size. The relay body clips onto the contactor without tools; the adjustment dial and trip-indicator flag remain visible after assembly. Spring-cage terminals accept 0.2–2.5 mm² solid or ferruled stranded conductors — strip length 8 mm avoids whiskers under the cage.
