Integrator's note — XT1HU3015AFF000XXX
ABB Tmax XT1H frame, 3-pole molded-case breaker with a fixed 15 A thermal-magnetic trip unit. Rated 480 VAC and carries a 65 kA interrupting capacity at that voltage — that's the SCCR headroom for high-fault panels where a standard 10 kA or 18 kA unit would need an upstream current-limiting fuse to coordinate. Panel-mount footprint matches the XT1 family; no DIN-rail adapter, so plan for direct panel cutout and bus-bar stabs.
What the 65 kA rating buys you
That puts it in the high-interrupt class for a 15 A frame; most 15 A MCCBs stop at 25 kA or 35 kA. In a panel with a transformer upstream or a utility feed that can deliver 50+ kA prospective fault current, this breaker holds selectivity without needing a fused disconnect ahead of it. The 15 A thermal-magnetic element handles overloads (thermal bimetal) and short circuits (magnetic solenoid) in one compact package — no electronic trip unit to program.
