It's a panel-mount disconnect for motor loads, distribution feeders, or branch circuits — sized for a 125 A continuous current path in a standard MCCB footprint.

How the 125 A rating governs the application
The 125 A continuous rating sets the maximum load current the switch can carry without derating under normal ambient conditions. For motor duty, the TMF trip curve provides thermal overload and magnetic short-circuit protection in one device — sized for a 125 A feeder or a motor full-load current up to that ampacity. The 3-pole construction handles three-phase circuits; the switch interrupts all poles simultaneously.
