This is the current-production variant, so it's the one you spec into a new BOM line, not a legacy cross-reference.
What the 3-pole rating means for fit
Three poles means it switches all three phases of a 3-phase load — motor, distribution feeder, or panel main. The TMF trip gives a fixed thermal-magnetic curve, so no field adjustment of the overload pickup; you select the breaker for the load current and leave it. That keeps the part simple for a panel builder wiring a standard motor branch circuit or a subfeed.
Lifecycle stage is marked current, meaning ABB still builds this order code. No last-time-buy or phase-out notice.
