What the 3-pole rating means for fit
The 3-pole configuration matches standard three-phase motor circuits, panel feeders, and distribution sub-mains. If your application is single-phase or requires a fourth pole for neutral switching, this part does not cover that — the poles count is fixed. For a three-phase disconnect in a DIN-rail enclosure, this is the correct count. No derating nuance on poles; the 3 is the full set the switch operates.
