The ABB XT4HQ3100EFF000XXX is a 3-pole molded case breaker rated 100 A continuous at 600 VAC, built on the XT4H frame. The 250 A frame size gives thermal headroom for high-fault applications — the breaker's 100 A rating is a function of the installed trip unit, not the frame limit. The EKIP LS/I electronic trip unit provides long-time and instantaneous protection, configurable for selective coordination downstream.
The EKIP LS/I trip unit is field-adjustable via the front rotary dials, so you can set the long-time pickup and instantaneous threshold without opening the breaker cover. For a 100 A feeder in a 480Y/277 V or 600 V distribution panel, this breaker occupies the same footprint as the rest of the XT4 series — no special busbar adapter needed for the 250 A frame.
