240 VAC coil for A9–A16 frames
The ABB ZA16-80 is a replacement coil for the A-Line contactor series, wound for 220/240 V AC control voltage and sized for A9 through A16 frame contactors. Rated 240 V AC control, this coil pulls in the contactor armature when the control circuit energises — the same voltage class that powers most panel-level PLC and relay outputs in 230 V distribution systems.

Fit confirmation for the panel
The coil mounts directly onto the contactor magnet assembly — no adapter plate or wiring harness change. It replaces the original coil in an A9, A12, or A16 frame contactor without altering the panel layout or the DIN-rail footprint. Control voltage is 220/240 V AC, so the coil draws its hold-in current from the same 230 V control transformer that feeds the rest of the panel. Verify the existing control-circuit protection is rated for the inrush of this coil size before committing the BOM.
