What the 48 V rating means for fit
The ZA16-83: The 48 V coil voltage is a common control-circuit standard in older panel designs and some industrial machinery. Verify that the existing control transformer or power supply delivers 48 V nominal — a 24 VDC system will not pull this coil in, and a 110 VAC circuit will damage it. The coil is a direct replacement for the same ABB ZA series contactor frame it was originally paired with.
