The Fuji Electric FRN0003G2S-4GU is a 1 hp variable-frequency drive from the FRENIC-Eco series, rated for 2.5 A continuous output on a three-phase 480 VAC supply. Input accepts 380–480 VAC ±10%/-15% at 50/60 Hz, so it handles nominal 400 V and 460 V line voltages without a transformer. Output frequency spans 0.1 to 120 Hz, covering standard induction motor speed ranges for fans and pumps. The NEMA 1 open enclosure means it's intended for indoor, non-washdown environments — mount it in a clean panel or cabinet. The blue heat-sink style is the standard FRENIC-Eco package; it dissipates heat through the rear fins, so leave at least 4 inches of clearance above and below for airflow.
Protection and control
Built-in protections cover drive thermal overload, motor thermal overload, overvoltage, undervoltage, phase failure, phase-to-phase and phase-to-ground short circuits, and over-braking. That's a full suite — no external motor-protection relay needed for most single-motor applications. Control is via the keypad or remote contact signal; the LCD/LED display shows motor speed, alarm codes, output frequency, current, and voltage. Starting torque is rated at 50% at 1 Hz, which is typical for variable-torque loads like centrifugal fans and pumps. For constant-torque or high-starting-torque applications (conveyors, crushers), you'd want a drive with a higher torque spec or sensorless vector control. Dynamic braking is supported, but the brake chopper is not included — you'll need an external braking resistor and a chopper module if you're stopping a high-inertia load quickly.
