The Omron 61F-GPN-V50 AC24V is a water leak detector from the 61F series, operating on a 24VAC supply. It uses a relay output with DPDT (2 Form C) contacts rated at 3A @ 250VAC, making it suitable for triggering alarms, shutting solenoid valves, or signaling a PLC input when water is detected. The adjustable sensitivity range of ±10 ~ 50kOhm lets you tune the detection threshold for the conductivity of the target liquid — set it low for pure water or high for conductive process fluids. This avoids false trips from condensation or minor splashes. Termination is via an 8-pin octal plug, which mates with a standard socket (sold separately). Installation Context
The socketable octal base mounts on a panel or DIN rail via the socket's own clip. The operating range of -10°C to 50°C covers most indoor plant-floor environments, but keep it out of direct washdown spray — the unit itself is not IP-rated for hose-down areas.
