The E2E-X1R5C18-M1: Shielded M8 cylindrical proximity sensor with a 2 mm flush-mount sensing range. NPN normally-open output switches up to 200 mA on a 10-30 VDC supply. M12 quick-connector makes it a fast swap in a panel if the existing sensor is NPN with the same pinout. Stainless steel 303 body earns IP67 and IP69K ratings, so it lives in washdown zones without complaint.
No – the output circuit type differs (NPN vs PNP). The mounting dimensions and connector are identical, but wiring changes are required because NPN sinks current and PNP sources current. Verify your PLC input type before swapping.
