The E2E-X1R5B1D8-M1TJ 0.3M is an M8 shielded, short-body proximity sensor from Omron's E2E NEXT line. Its 1.5 mm sensing range targets tight-space detection of ferrous targets in high-ip washdown zones, carrying IP67, IP67G, and IP69K ingress ratings. Output is PNP normally-open with a 3-wire DC supply (10–30 VDC). IO-Link COM2 communication supports parameter adjustment and diagnostics through the same four-pin connection. The stainless steel (SUS303) body and PBT sensing face resist corrosion and mechanical impact. A 0.3 m pigtail terminates in an M12 Smartclick connector for tool-less mating.
Mounting and installation note
Short-body length of 37.8 mm with 22 mm of threaded M8 brass cylinder. Shielded construction allows flush mounting in steel without sensing-range derating. The 0.3 m pigtail with M12 connector suits piggyback or junction-box terminations.
