The Omron E2E-X23B1D30 5M is a shielded M30 inductive proximity sensor from the E2E NEXT series. It delivers a 23 mm sensing distance in a short-body housing with IP69K ingress protection, and supports IO-Link COM2 for diagnostic data and parameter setting. Output is PNP normally open on a 5 m PVC cable, 3-wire DC, operating from 10 to 30 VDC.

The IP69K rating is the key differentiator — it withstands high-pressure, high-temperature washdown, making the sensor a direct fit for food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and car wash applications where IP67 alone would not hold. IO-Link COM2 opens setup and diagnostics via a standard M12 connector (field-attachable or pre-wired), reducing downtime during changeovers.
