The E2E-X5F1 is an M18 shielded inductive proximity sensor from the E2E series, detecting magnetic metals at 5 mm ±10%. It runs on 12–24 VDC (10–40 VDC range) with a switching capacity of 200 mA max. Response frequency is 0.6 kHz, suitable for moderate-speed detection. Operating temperature spans –40 to 85°C without icing, current consumption 13 mA max, residual voltage 2.0 V max under the rated load.
Not a drop-in from the E2C heat-resistant line
The E2C-X1R5AH is a heat-resistant M8 sensor head with 1.5 mm sensing distance and requires an external amplifier (E2C-AM4A or E2C-AK4A). The E2E-X5F1 is a self-contained M18 shielded sensor with 5 mm range — different mounting, different wiring, different sensing distance. No direct substitution without panel rework.
