The E2E-X5MY1-US: M12 unshielded inductive proximity sensor from the Omron E2E series, with a 5 mm sensing distance on ferrous metals. Two-wire AC output rated 24-240 VAC, normally open, capable of switching up to 100 mA continuous. The pre-wired 2 m cable includes a cable protector and is rated for cutting oil resistance, matched with an IP67 and NEMA 1/4/6/12/13 enclosure for machine-tool and washdown positions.
Integration Notes
Mounts via M12 threaded body; unshielded construction means no derating for flush mounting in metal. Pre-wired with 2 m bare-end cable; nickel-plated brass body withstands corrosion from coolant and cutting fluids. The cable protector reduces strain at the sensor exit. IP67 and NEMA ratings allow direct exposure to washdown. Ensure the AC supply is within 24-240 VAC; DC supply is not rated.
