The E2EW-X12B1T18 2M is a weld-field-immune metal-faced inductive proximity sensor. Shielded M18 body, PNP output, IO-Link COM3, rated IP67. Sensing distance is 12 mm on both aluminum and iron — no derating for non-ferrous targets. Supply 10 to 30 VDC, normally open, with a 2 m PVC cable. The equal sensing on aluminum and iron is the headline feature. Standard inductive sensors lose half their range on aluminum; this one holds the full 12 mm. The stainless steel face (SUS303) and case handle weld spatter and thermal shock on robotic weld cells or stamping lines.
