Omron E2EX5ME2 inductive proximity sensor with 5 mm sensing distance, NPN normally closed output, 10-40 VDC supply, and 4-pin connector. Current-production unit. The NC (normally closed) output means the transistor is on when no target is present, switching off when metal enters the sensing field. That's useful for fail-safe detection or for wiring into an existing NC-controlled safety loop without inverting logic.
