Sensor specs for a wet, fast line
The Omron E3FA-BN112M is a retroreflective photoelectric sensor built for washdown zones. Housed in a plastic M18 threaded body with a 2 m prewired cable, it delivers a 0.5 msec response and a sensing span from 100 mm to 500 mm against a reflector. The NPN output switches 100 mA maximum, and you can select Light On or Dark On operation. Rated IP67 and IP69K, this sensor takes hot water and chemical spray in stride—ideal for bottling, canning, and food processing lines where standard sensors would let moisture in.
Why the IP69K and P-Opaquing matter
IP69K rating suits this sensor for high-pressure washdown, and the P-Opaquing function detects transparent glass objects with a minimum size of 150mm x 150mm.
