The Omron NS5-SQ10-V2 is a 5.7" color touchscreen HMI from the NS Series, running on 24VDC supply. The front panel carries an IP65 and NEMA 4 rating — dust-tight and protected against hose-directed water, so it mounts directly into a panel cut-out in washdown zones or outdoor cabinets without a secondary cover.
Obsolete — sourcing through independent channels
Omron has marked the NS5-SQ10-V2 as Obsolete. The unit is sourced through independent distribution — quantities are lot-specific and confirmed at RFQ against the BOM line. The Memory Card Interface supports recipe transfer and program backup via CompactFlash or similar media — useful for cloning a replacement unit to match the existing application without re-entering screens from scratch.
Operating envelope and panel integration
Rated for 0°C to 50°C ambient — the enclosure must stay within that range; the HMI generates its own heat, so the panel interior temperature, not the plant floor ambient, is the governing figure. The ivory case color is the standard NS Series panel-facing finish. Bulk packaging means the unit ships without a retail box — the anti-static bag and foam wrap are adequate for panel-shop handling but the packing slip should be checked against the PO on receipt.
