What this iC60N RCBO does on the panel
The A9D71820 is a 1P+N residual current breaker with overcurrent protection (RCBO) from the Acti9 range, combining a 20 A thermal-magnetic trip with integrated 30 mA earth-leakage protection in a single 18 mm wide module (2 x 9 mm pitches). Breaking capacity is 6000 A Icn at 230/240 V AC 50/60 Hz, suitable for TN earthing systems. Clip-on mounting to DIN rail, neutral on the left, padlockable with a 4 mm shackle for lockout/tagout.
The D curve and 6000 A Icn coordinate downstream of a higher-rated upstream MCB or fuse — the 20 A rating and 30 mA leakage suit outgoer socket circuits. Limitation class 3 (energy-limiting) keeps let-through energy low enough to protect downstream wiring and loads during a fault.
Module dimensions: 77.5 mm deep, 110 mm high, 18 mm wide — fits standard 18 mm DIN-rail pitch. Top terminals accept 1–25 mm² rigid or 1–16 mm² flexible; bottom terminals accept 1–16 mm² rigid or 1–10 mm² flexible. Tightening torque: 3.5 N·m top, 2 N·m bottom. Strip length: 14 mm top, 13 mm bottom. IP20 rated for dry indoor enclosures; tropicalisation class 2 handles humidity up to 95 % at 55 °C.
