The breaking capacity is 1500 A (Idm and Im), sufficient for downstream fault clearing in a distribution board. Clip-on mounting to a 72 mm wide DIN rail (8 x 9 mm pitches) fits standard enclosure layouts. The neutral is on the left; the toggle actuator and padlocking provision make it serviceable without removing the module.
100 A rated current (In) means this RCCB handles the full load of a main distribution board or a heavy submain. Type AC earth-leakage protection means it detects sinusoidal AC residual currents only. For circuits with non-sinusoidal or pulsed DC waveforms (e.g. VFDs, UPS, LED drivers), a Type A or Type B RCCB would be required — this is a selection boundary to confirm before specifying. Voltage-independent tripping technology means the RCCB does not rely on the line voltage to operate — it will still trip on an earth fault even if the neutral is lost upstream. This is a reliability advantage in installations where supply continuity to the RCCB is uncertain. IP20 rated (finger-safe terminals) when mounted in a modular enclosure; the enclosure itself must provide the IP40 protection stated for the complete assembly.
