The Schneider Electric A9R75225 is a 2-pole residual current circuit breaker (RCCB) from the Acti9 iID K series, rated 25 A with 300 mA earth-leakage sensitivity, Type AC, for 220-240 V AC networks at 50/60 Hz. 300 mA sensitivity covers fire risk from insulation faults on distribution subcircuits.
Rated 25 A continuous — sized for a 25 A outgoing feeder. 300 mA sensitivity, Type AC, detects sinusoidal AC residual currents only. Breaking capacity is rated Idm 500 A and Im 500 A — that's the short-circuit withstand at the device terminals, not a fault-clearing rating like an MCB. The RCCB relies on an upstream overcurrent protective device (MCB or fuse) to clear high faults; the 500 A rating means it survives that level without damage while the OCPD opens. Voltage-independent tripping means the residual current coil operates without needing a separate supply or neutral-to-earth voltage — it uses the fault current itself to trip, so it works even if the neutral is lost upstream.
Clip-on mounting to DIN rail, neutral on the left. Tunnel terminals accept 1-35 mm² rigid or 1-25 mm² flexible (with or without ferrule). Strip length 16 mm, torque to 3.5 N.m. That's a standard panel-building spec — no special tooling needed. IP20 on the body (finger-safe), IP40 inside a modular enclosure — fine for dry indoor distribution boards.
Listed as current production. Standard catalog item in the Acti9 range.
