The Schneider BMEAHO0412 is an active Modicon X80 analog output module delivering four isolated 4-20 mA channels with HART protocol support. Each channel includes broken wire detection and achieves 0.1% of full scale measurement error at 25 °C, with 45 ppm/°C temperature drift. Isolation is rated 1000 V DC between channels and 1400 V DC to ground and bus, keeping loop integrity in mixed-voltage panels.
Compared to the earlier BMXAMO0410, the BMEAHO0412 adds HART communication and raises channel-to-channel isolation from 750 V DC to 1000 V DC. The connection changes from a standard 20-way connector to a Telefast 20-way terminal block — so a panel wired for BMXAMO0410 will need re-termination at the module end. The BMXAMO0210 delivers only two channels, and the BMXAMO0802 provides eight non-isolated outputs, neither matching the channel counts or isolation profile.
Point-to-point topology means each channel runs a dedicated loop back to the field device; no daisy-chaining or bus drop. The Telefast connection uses a 20-way terminal block, so pre-wired harnesses must match that footprint. I/O mapping is available within the Modicon X80 rack software, and the module supports fallback modes if communications drop.
Compliance is covered under IEC 61010-2-201, IEC 61131-2, UL 61010-2-201, and CSA C22.2 No. 61010-2-201, plus the Low Voltage and EMC directives (2014/35/EU and 2014/30/EU).
