The BMENOS0300C is a Modicon X80 switch module that gives you three EtherNet/IP ports on the backplane. It draws 3.3 W at 25°C, 4.5 W at 60°C, and it's conformal coated for harsh environments. Powered from the backplane at 24 V, it's a standard-format module that fits any X80 rack slot. Four LEDs on the front tell you RUN, ERR, module status, and network link status at a glance.
Where you'd use it
Three ports mean you can daisy-chain or star-topology your EtherNet/IP devices without a separate external switch. The conformal coating handles condensation, gas, and dust – good for process plants and marine engine rooms. Rated 0 to 60°C operating, IP20, and good for altitudes up to 2000 m. Overvoltage category II. It'll live in a climate-controlled panel just fine, and it's been tested to ISA S71.04 Gx and IEC 60721-3-3 for harsh environments.
