This is a Modicon X80 backplane rack from Schneider, order code BMEXBP1002. It gives you 8 bus X slots for I/O modules plus 2 dedicated Ethernet bus X slots — so you can hang the Ethernet head-end right on the rack without stealing a slot. Mount it by four M6 screws to a plate, or four screws in the 4.32 to 6.35 mm diameter range to a panel. No DIN rail clip here, so plan for screw-down only. It draws 162 mA off the 24 V DC supply and 76 mA from the 3.3 V DC bus, with total power consumption running 3.9 W on 24 V and 251 mW on 3.3 V. Ambient air temperature for operation is 0 to 60 °C, relative humidity 5 to 95 % without condensation. IP20 means it lives inside a clean enclosure — out here in the grease you'll want it behind a sealed cabinet door.
Fixing is by 4 M6 screws into a plate, or 4 screws with a diameter between 4.32 and 6.35 mm into a panel. The rack comes with one XBE expansion connector for daisy-chaining to additional racks. Plan for the 24 V DC draw of 162 mA in your power budget; the 3.3 V rail is internal to the backplane, so the 76 mA there won't affect your 24 V supply sizing. The IP20 rating means you handle it like any card-cage — no water or dust splash allowed. Keep the ambient under 60 °C or derate accordingly.
