The Schneider Electric C063B4WM is a ComPacT NS630bLB new-generation basic frame — a 4-pole, withdrawable, manually operated air circuit breaker rated 630 A at 50 °C. It ships without a control unit or protection module, so you fit the trip unit that matches your distribution scheme (Micrologic or otherwise). At 690 V AC the Icu still holds at 75 kA, which covers most industrial step-down transformer secondaries.
At 690 V AC the Icu is 75 kA, still well above most 690 V distribution fault levels. The Icw (rated short-time withstand current) is 19.2 kA for 1 second, which matters for selective coordination downstream: the frame can hold a fault current long enough for a feeder breaker to clear first.
Withdrawable mounting — panel integration
This is a withdrawable frame, meaning the moving portion (the breaker itself) slides out of a fixed cradle for inspection or swap without disturbing the bus connections. Mounts on a backplate with a 70 mm connection pitch. Dimensions are 306 mm wide × 260 mm high × 147 mm deep — that's a compact footprint for a 630 A frame, so it fits in standard switchgear cubicles without needing a deep enclosure. IP40 front face protection keeps tools and fingers out; IK07 impact rating means it survives the odd dropped screwdriver during commissioning.
Durability and environmental range
Mechanical durability is 10,000 cycles per IEC 60947-2 — that's the expected life of the mechanism before maintenance. Electrical durability varies with voltage and current: 2,000 cycles at 690 V AC at rated In, up to 4,000 cycles at 440 V AC at In/2.
